Description

  • Manage financial operations for a rapidly growing startup.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and projections.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
  • Support hiring, benefits administration, and human resources activities.
  • Collaborate with fund accounting and finance teams.
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership and the Board.
  • Manage state and federal compliance and reporting.
  • Implement accounting and finance software systems.
  • Maintain and manage the company cap table.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance experience spanning accounting, FP&A, and financial systems.
  • Experience working in a rapidly scaling fintech environment.
  • Experience with financial modeling and projections.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and modern finance tools.
  • Understanding of accounting considerations related to startup investing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of solving complex problems.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Interest or experience in the venture capital industry preferred.
  • Must be based in the United States; Bay Area location preferred.
