Specialized Consumer Services

Description

  • Identify and prospect law firms in personal injury, mass tort, and litigation that match the ideal customer profile.
  • Run discovery calls and product demos that connect Lexmata’s platform to customer workflow pain.
  • Build, manage, and forecast a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate and close both SaaS subscriptions and bundled tech-plus-consulting engagements.
  • Partner with the founder on pricing strategy, deal structure, and customer feedback loops.
  • Help shape the company’s business operations stack by evaluating and implementing sales and reporting tools.
  • Develop lightweight in-house tooling when vendor solutions do not fit.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure reliable forecasting.
  • Work directly with the founder across the full top-of-funnel sales motion, from prospecting through close.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Prior experience selling into the legal vertical is strongly preferred, including legal tech, practice management software, e-discovery, court reporting, or legal services.
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Comfort with a consultative sales process and speaking credibly to workflow challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including cold outreach and follow-up messaging.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an early-stage environment.
  • Fully remote within the United States, with optional in-office work in Philadelphia or Miami.
  • Willing and able to travel for in-person company meetings at least twice per year.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Existing relationships with law firms, especially in personal injury, mass tort, or litigation, are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Clio, Litify, Filevine, or similar practice management platforms is preferred.
  • Prior experience selling at a seed- or Series-A-stage startup is a plus.

Benefits

  • $60,000–$80,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Commission structure of 10% on tech-only sales.
  • Commission structure of 7.5% on tech-plus-consulting sales.
