Description

  • Develop the annual forecast and business plan for the region.
  • Own the financial health of branch operations within the region.
  • Work with corporate managers to oversee branch functions including sales and marketing, warehouse, collections, purchasing, and administration.
  • Build relationships with employees, key customers, and vendors.
  • Lead recruitment, selection, and hiring for all positions in the region.
  • Coach, mentor, train, and review employees to support performance and promotability.
  • Supervise employee terminations and hold employees accountable for results.
  • Monitor competitors and market changes within the territory.
  • Communicate company vision, strategy, policies, and overall direction to the region.
  • Create a supportive, productive work environment and maintain strong morale across the region.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven field sales leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer/Mincron packages.
  • Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to time management.
  • Ability to analyze business potential and economic conditions within a region.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in sales training and coaching.
  • Ability to identify, hire, and promote talented employees.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the region, including some overnight travel.
  • Personable demeanor and professional appearance at all times.
  • Extensive product and market knowledge.
