Description

  • Design, build, and ship production-grade web applications using Next.js, JavaScript, and responsive CSS.
  • Translate wireframes, rough designs, and delivery requirements into maintainable interfaces and components.
  • Build and maintain secure integrations between HR/payroll platforms, databases, and internal tools.
  • Deploy and operate applications in Microsoft Azure using App Services, Storage Accounts, Entra ID, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write automated tests and participate constructively in code reviews.
  • Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and implement root-cause fixes.
  • Collaborate with consultants, project managers, and stakeholders on technical decisions, estimates, and documentation.
  • Handle sensitive employee and payroll data according to security and privacy best practices.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of commercial experience building and shipping production applications with Next.js and React.
  • Deep knowledge of Next.js routing, data fetching, and SSR, SSG, and ISR rendering strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, asynchronous programming, API usage, and preferably TypeScript.
  • Experience creating maintainable, responsive, accessible interfaces and CSS from wireframes or rough designs.
  • Experience building REST, GraphQL, and webhook integrations.
  • Experience writing automated unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.
  • Production experience managing environment variables, encryption, secrets, and sensitive data securely.
  • Exceptional written English and the ability to document work and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Azure, Jira, Confluence, Python, or HR/payroll systems experience is preferred.
