Description

  • Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including declarations, affidavits, recommendation letters, and client correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, request documents, provide case updates, and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain organized and accurate digital case files for efficient case management and retrieval.
  • Manage and update case management and CRM systems such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
  • Track filing deadlines, monitor case progress, and support scheduling and administrative coordination.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff on case preparation, workflow management, and case strategy implementation.
  • Use legal technology and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, organization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Meet performance expectations for quality, productivity, responsiveness, and client service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience handling U.S. immigration cases.
  • Experience preparing and managing U.S. immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Experience using legal case management and CRM software such as Docketwise, PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Pipefile, or similar systems.
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet performance goals and productivity expectations in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance work product and efficiency is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and a backup power solution to maintain availability during outages.
  • Must be based in South Africa and able to work remotely with at least 6 hours of overlap with Pacific Time operating hours.
