Description

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle messaging strategy from first order through repeat purchase and subscription conversion.
  • Build the CRM programme from the ground up, including strategy, architecture, channel mix, and testing cadence.
  • Own post-order habit sequences, win-back flows, lapsed customer journeys, and subscription upsell tracks.
  • Design behavioural nudges, lifecycle triggers, suppression logic, and CRM segmentation architecture.
  • Manage a direct report responsible for day-to-day sequence execution and optimisation.
  • Set and monitor retention performance metrics such as repeat order rate, LTV, time to reorder, and lapsed customer recovery.
  • Determine how email, push notifications, SMS, and WhatsApp should work together across the customer lifecycle.
  • Write briefs and copy for lifecycle campaigns and experiments.
  • Run and evaluate CRM tests and use results to shape programme decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2C lifecycle, retention, or CRM marketing, ideally in a consumer app or marketplace.
  • Hands-on experience building automated sequences in a behavioural CRM such as Customer.io, Braze, or Klaviyo.
  • Proven experience running CRM experiments, including A/B tests on sequences, timing, copy, and segmentation.
  • Experience managing lifecycle programmes across multiple channels, including email and push plus at least one of SMS or WhatsApp.
  • Ability to write briefs and copy independently.
  • Ability to read cohort data in a spreadsheet or BI tool and turn it into test hypotheses.
  • Understanding of suppression logic, exit conditions, and sequence architecture.
  • Experience shaping retention strategy end-to-end in a hands-on leadership role.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid 9-5, Monday-Friday schedule.
