Description

  • Own P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Manage campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budgets, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing directly in Google Ads.
  • Build and scale performance video campaigns across insurance verticals and expand into new video channels over time.
  • Drive both lead and inbound call generation, optimizing for call quality, advertiser feedback, and downstream monetization.
  • Own creative strategy for performance, including audience selection, messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, formats, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to communicate performance and align on decisions.
  • Create repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to move quickly on creative testing and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Build and help lead a video-first team as investment in the channel grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in a lead-gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Deep hands-on experience building campaigns directly in-platform, including architecture, bidding, conversion setup, testing, and daily optimization.
  • Strong grasp of affiliate lead generation, monetization dynamics, advertiser quality metrics, and profitable traffic scaling.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting structure, audience, creative, and messaging to different customer journeys.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage alignment, audience intent, and offer positioning.
  • Ability to use AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, and Claude, or similar.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting insights in Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing settings.
  • Experience owning P&L and building repeatable playbooks that scale wins across brands and verticals.
  • Nice to have: measurement experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift.
  • Nice to have: experience in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Nice to have: background in additional lead-gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
