Description

  • Own full P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Build, optimize, and scale campaigns directly in Google Ads, including campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budgets, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing.
  • Develop and execute creative strategy for performance video, including messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, funnel-stage alignment, and testing priorities.
  • Scale campaigns across insurance lines such as auto, home, health, ACA, and Medicare, then expand into additional insurance and financial services verticals.
  • Drive both lead generation and inbound call generation while monitoring call quality, conversion rates, advertiser feedback, and downstream monetization.
  • Communicate performance, insights, and decisions clearly and proactively to analytics, creative, sales, product, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Build repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Partner with creative teams and use AI/self-serve tools to test concepts quickly and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Build and lead a video-first team as the business and investment scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in a lead generation niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Google Ads, including campaign architecture, bidding, audience strategy, and conversion setup.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting strategy, creative, and messaging to different customer journeys.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, audience intent, funnel stage, and offer positioning.
  • Ability to use AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude to iterate quickly.
  • Demonstrated ownership of P&L, growth, and profitability goals, with experience building repeatable playbooks that scale.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to executives and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience with measurement methods such as MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift.
  • Preferred: experience in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Preferred: experience in additional lead gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Preferred: familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
  • Preferred: team-building, mentoring, or formal playbook development experience.
