Description

  • Manage a portfolio of state and regional public sector contracts with responsibility for delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for key stakeholders, including commissioners, agency leads, Medicaid and payer partners, and legislative liaisons.
  • Lead recurring business reviews and provide data-informed updates on outcomes, engagement, and value.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewal and service expansion based on client needs, policy priorities, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Clinical, Engagement, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to align internal resources with client needs.
  • Support the development and execution of partnership strategies with Medicaid MCOs, school districts, state agencies, and community coalitions.
  • Map ecosystem stakeholders, coordinate outreach, and represent Kooth at meetings, briefings, and sector events.
  • Contribute to partnership proposals, pilots, new delivery models, reports, dashboards, and advocacy-oriented storytelling.
  • Champion the client voice internally and support operational improvements that scale account management processes.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in account management, public sector partnership development, government relations, or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in digital health, behavioral health, education, Medicaid, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing public sector contracts and complex stakeholder relationships, including Medicaid MCOs, school systems, state agencies, county partners, or community-based organizations.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, Medicaid policy, public health funding structures, and/or behavioral health ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with the partnership landscape in Michigan or the assigned territory, including relationships across education, youth mental health, healthcare, public sector, or community-based systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholder groups, from operational partners to senior government and community leaders.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to create client-facing presentations, reports, and strategic insights using data and tools such as Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
  • Passion for equitable access to mental health care and improving outcomes for young people and communities.
