Description

  • Reimagine core People workflows such as recruiting, onboarding, performance, and daily tasks through an AI-first lens.
  • Design and build AI-powered workflows, copilots, and agents that automate and augment People processes.
  • Architect and implement integrations across SaaS platforms including Workday, Greenhouse, Sana, and internal Klaviyo systems.
  • Partner with the internal IT AI team to define prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, versioning, testing, security, and observability standards.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities to replace manual workflows with AI-native solutions.
  • Define and track success metrics for efficiency, time savings, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with Security, Legal, and Global IT to ensure responsible, compliant, and ethical AI deployment.
  • Create reusable frameworks, playbooks, and training materials to help People teams adopt AI tools.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical leader helping shape Klaviyo’s internal AI-first operating model.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering or data engineering experience.
  • 2+ years building AI/ML or LLM-powered solutions with tangible business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to set technical direction and build 0→1 systems with organizational impact.
  • Strong experience with Python, SQL, and modern APIs.
  • Experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
  • Experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
  • Experience designing AI-powered workflows, agents, or copilots.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS systems such as HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Experience designing scalable systems, automation frameworks, and internal tools.
  • Experience working with sensitive data and applying responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with People/HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Sana is a plus.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Workato, or Zapier is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Contributions to AI governance, internal AI platforms, or experimentation frameworks are a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $140,000 to $210,000 USD for U.S. locations.
  • Eligibility for annual cash bonus plan.
  • Equity may be included in total compensation.
  • Sign-on payments may be included.
  • Comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
  • Up to 10% travel for onboarding, team meetings, client or partner work, and industry events.
