Description

  • Commit to a consistent weekly availability block of 40 hours and accept interview assignments, including short-notice requests.
  • Conduct 60-minute technical interviews across back-end, full-stack, front-end, and system design domains.
  • Provide thorough written evaluations of candidates’ coding approach, technical knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Maintain Karat’s standards for structured, inclusive, and bias-mitigated interviewing throughout the engagement.

Requirements

  • Must be currently located in Canada.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience conducting technical interviews, either through a formal employer program or independently.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Reliable home setup with stable internet connection, working webcam, and microphone.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent weekly availability block for the full term through October 2026.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Independent contractor classification acceptance.
