Description

Own the technical strategy for scaling the Libraries Platform across multiple language ecosystems.
Design architecture for onboarding new ecosystems such as .NET, Go, and Rust without rebuilding core services for each one.
Drive end-to-end automation of CVE remediation from detection through patching, rebuild, verification, and release.
Set direction for agentic and AI-driven patch generation, including validation and safety guardrails.
Own platform-wide services including package indexing, build and packaging pipelines, registry mirrors, and orchestration tooling.
Make build-vs-buy and sequencing decisions for ecosystem expansion and platform reuse.
Partner with Ecosystem, Platform, Delivery, Sustaining, and Security teams on roadmap alignment and risk management.
Mentor senior engineers, lead design reviews, and write docs and RFCs that guide other teams.
Define platform SLOs and lead incident response and postmortems for major failures.
Diagnose deep toolchain, compiler, and dependency-resolution issues when needed.

Requirements

12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms.
Principal-level scope with experience setting technical direction across multiple teams.
Direct experience onboarding or significantly extending support for a language ecosystem into an existing platform.
Experience with .NET (NuGet), Go (modules), or Rust (Cargo) preferred.
Strong proficiency in Go.
Proven success automating manual remediation workflows.
Deep experience with CI/CD, agentic pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and IaC.
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo, or Tekton.
Ability to diagnose and resolve toolchain, compiler, and packaging failures across multiple ecosystems.
Excellent written communication in a remote, distributed environment.
Software supply chain security background including SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore, provenance, and attestations preferred.
Experience with Linux distributions, packaging, and reproducible build systems such as Alpine, Wolfi, Debian, Bazel, CMake, or Ninja preferred.
Familiarity with AI/ML packaging and infrastructure such as PyTorch or TensorFlow in cloud/Kubernetes environments preferred.
