Description

  • Define and lead the strategy across data engineering, data science, quant, and data analytics to maximize business impact.
  • Build, manage, and mentor cross-functional teams of quants, data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
  • Drive advanced analytics, machine learning strategy, feature engineering, and model development with responsible AI practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions.
  • Design and evolve a scalable, reliable, and maintainable data platform architecture.
  • Oversee development of ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data streams.
  • Establish engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, data contracts, and observability.
  • Own technology selection and resource planning for ClickHouse, Spark, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Ensure data quality through monitoring, alerting, SLA ownership, and remediation processes.
  • Define and drive GenAI and LLM strategy, including use-case selection, vendor evaluation, and end-to-end implementation.
  • Architect LLM-powered products such as RAG pipelines, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows.
  • Lead adoption of agentic AI frameworks and establish MLOps/LLMOps best practices for production systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience across data science, quant, and data engineering roles delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience leading data teams, including quants and data scientists.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience writing clean, production-grade code.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and clean architecture.
  • Practical experience with ML libraries and platforms such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, and PySpark.
  • Deep understanding of core ML algorithms, including regression, gradient boosting, and time series methods.
  • Strong foundation in mathematical statistics, probability theory, and quantitative modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and production-grade AI systems such as RAG, agents, and fine-tuning.
  • Familiarity with LLMOps tooling such as MLflow, W&B, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks like RAGAS and DeepEval.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical and OLAP databases.
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate.
  • Experience with ClickHouse or other OLAP databases is a plus.
  • Background in trading or fintech is preferred.
  • Experience analyzing and modeling time series or high-frequency data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with anti-fraud systems, risk modeling, or portfolio analytics is preferred.
