Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, E2E, functional, and integration tests across Linux, Windows, macOS, Docker, and WSL.
  • Expand test coverage for new and existing functionality.
  • Monitor automated test execution results and analyze failures.
  • Debug and troubleshoot test failures to distinguish product regressions from infrastructure issues.
  • Optimize test execution time and improve test reliability and stability.
  • Contribute to and improve automation frameworks and test automation processes.
  • Report bugs in YouTrack and verify fixes and backports.
  • Participate in release quality assessments and help define test strategies and quality gates.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and tooling teams to improve testability, quality, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and track quality metrics such as coverage, failure rate, and flakiness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in test automation.
  • Solid programming skills in Kotlin or Java and a good understanding of the JVM.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
  • Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity or similar.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Allure or similar.
  • Version control experience with Git.
  • Ability to isolate root causes and distinguish product bugs from environment issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with other teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience testing developer tools, IDEs, and desktop applications is a plus.
  • Experience building automated testing infrastructure and processes is a plus.
  • Experience in performance testing is a plus.
  • Experience in manual testing is a plus.
