Description

  • Evaluate and refine the initial go-to-market strategy, including ICP, buyer, use cases, channels, and pricing.
  • Scale the pilot program beyond initial design partners and convert qualified prospects into pilots.
  • Lead structured customer discovery with buyers, influencers, and end users.
  • Refine messaging, positioning, and use-case narratives based on customer conversations.
  • Identify and develop relationships with MSPs, MSSPs, and other strategic ecosystem partners.
  • Validate early enterprise sales motions, including direct and partner-led approaches.
  • Own early CRM strategy, pipeline hygiene, and reporting.
  • Develop foundational GTM assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, pilot briefs, and demos.
  • Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and product team to align GTM learnings with MVP priorities.
  • Shape pricing, packaging, onboarding, and customer success motions.

Requirements

  • Former founder, early GTM leader, or senior sales/marketing leader at an early-stage cybersecurity startup.
  • Deep understanding of B2B cybersecurity buying motions, especially through MSPs/MSSPs or mid-market and enterprise IT.
  • Experience operating in pre-PMF or early-PMF environments.
  • Comfort with hands-on outreach, discovery calls, and relationship building.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute day-to-day.
  • High autonomy, structured working style, and comfort operating with limited data.
  • Builder mindset and enjoyment of creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Based in North America or have deep, recent experience selling cybersecurity solutions into the North American market.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security environments and frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, or CMMC is a strong plus.
