Description

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for a defined list of government agencies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customers’ current and future IT initiatives and aligning Ivanti solutions to their mission.
  • Lead initial executive and CxO discussions and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop revenue growth plans with marketing and channel teams to exceed annual goals.
  • Manage the sales process and drive opportunities through to closure.
  • Own ongoing account management to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities, upsell, and cross-sell products and services.
  • Mentor and collaborate with account managers to support team success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience selling enterprise software.
  • Experience in account management and new business sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Defined sales process and methodology to drive repeatable, predictable results.
  • Ability to understand the broader business drivers behind IT initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working for or with Public Sector-focused Value-Added Resellers and/or System Integrators is preferred.
  • Experience working with government agencies is relevant to the role.
  • Executive-level relationship-building experience is preferred.
