Description

  • Build Databricks medallion architecture pipelines with data quality checks, contracts, lineage, governance, and PII controls.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and productionize machine learning and GenAI solutions, including forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP, RAG, and LLM assistants.
  • Design batch and streaming inference workflows and manage models through Unity Catalog.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and A/B testing strategies with Product and business stakeholders.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code workflows using Databricks Asset Bundles and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, incident workflows, and FinOps practices to meet reliability and cost objectives.
  • Develop semantic models and trusted data products for Unity Catalog, Power BI, and Databricks AI/BI.
  • Implement secure, auditable architectures using RBAC/ABAC, private networking, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Create documentation, runbooks, audit evidence, and reusable ML/GenAI delivery patterns.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or ML Engineering, including taking models into production.
  • Strong Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark skills.
  • Hands-on Databricks experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, Jobs and Workflows, and medallion architecture.
  • Knowledge of feature engineering, model training and evaluation, monitoring, data quality, and drift detection.
  • Practical GenAI/LLM experience with prompt engineering, RAG, vector stores, LLM evaluation, safety guardrails, and performance-cost tradeoffs.
  • Experience with CI/CD for data and ML workloads, including GitHub Actions, Databricks Asset Bundles, environment promotion, and secrets management.
  • Experience with data contracts, schema governance, automated testing, validation, and quarantine workflows.
  • Understanding of PII protection, RBAC/ABAC, data residency, policy-as-code, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data, and domain teams and produce ADRs, runbooks, experiment reports, and operational documentation.
  • Preferred experience with Azure or AWS, geospatial analytics, streaming/CDC, MLflow, observability, FinOps, disaster recovery, utilities or infrastructure, and asset-integrity risk models.
