Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, AWS, and LLM technologies.
  • Build scalable end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines with Databricks, DBT, Apache Spark, and related tools.
  • Design and implement data architectures, modeling, governance, quality, monitoring, and observability across AI and data platforms.
  • Develop APIs, workflows, distributed systems, and production-ready backend services.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams on technical decisions, scalability, reliability, and delivery.
  • Apply engineering practices for production deployment and ongoing platform maintenance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably with AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, data transformation, testing, and validation.
  • Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
  • Production experience developing AI- or LLM-powered products.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, conversational AI, agent-based systems, Fivetran, Delta Lake, CI/CD, observability, governance, internal developer platforms, or low-code tools.
