Description

  • Own a portfolio of global enterprise retailers and strategically sell Caper cart expansions.
  • Lead the end-to-end acquisition sales strategy in partnership with Business Development Retail and Connected Stores leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key retailer decision-makers and influencers.
  • Create and deliver Caper and Connected Stores presentations and proposals to retailers.
  • Negotiate and close complex Caper contracts with retailers.
  • Collaborate with Connected Stores MS&P and Caper sales to improve go-to-market strategy and sales processes.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Ops, and Partnerships to develop creative solutions and refine acquisition strategies.
  • Support revenue growth for Caper and Instacart through strategic selling and expansion efforts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working on complex challenges in the grocery or retail space.
  • Experience selling or expanding high-tech products or services, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales or OKR targets.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, databases, and integration tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Comfort with data analysis and modeling, preferred.
  • Experience with products that involve both hardware and software, preferred.
  • Exposure to supply chain, in-store advertising, retail labor management, and front-end operations, preferred.
