Description

  • Prospect and engage independent retailers to join the Instacart Marketplace.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for small opportunities.
  • Use cold calls and emails to identify new opportunities and build relationships with local retailers.
  • Follow up with prospects, set meetings, and move leads through the pipeline.
  • Develop sales collateral, case studies, and custom stories that communicate Instacart’s value proposition.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Apply problem-solving, solution mapping, and negotiation to advance partnership opportunities.
  • Prioritize work using strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment and continue learning in the sales field.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and lasting relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the grocery industry, including market trends and operational challenges, is preferred.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to drive retailer success is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools is preferred.
  • Must be located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia for this remote role.
