Description

  • Own a portfolio of key partnerships end-to-end, including performance management, relationship management, and renewals.
  • Track and improve in-market partnership performance against agreed objectives and contract obligations.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and renewals with Fortune 500 partners.
  • Develop deal models in partnership with Finance and Legal.
  • Serve as the main cross-functional connector across Legal, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance to resolve issues and keep execution on track.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with both day-to-day partner contacts and senior partner leadership.
  • Represent Instacart externally in QBRs and industry conferences with professionalism and authority.
  • Identify new strategic opportunities and shape long-term partnership roadmaps.
  • Surface risks proactively and drive rapid resolution to maintain transparency with partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Experience developing deal models with Finance and Legal partners.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust across multiple levels of a partner organization.
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with credibility and diplomacy.
  • Strong cross-functional operating ability across Legal, Product, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Comfort managing operational complexity across a large, active partnership portfolio.
  • Experience in financial services, media, travel, entertainment, or loyalty is preferred.
  • Experience managing or influencing co-marketing investments, incentive funding, or customer acquisition spend is preferred.
