Description

  • Advise and coach first-time managers on employee relations, systems implementation, compensation, performance management, HR policies, and related topics.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners on larger projects and organizational changes.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to HR programs and processes to increase efficiency and improve the employee experience.
  • Manage new hire onboarding logistics for client groups.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support employee offboarding administration.
  • Stay current on state HR laws and practices, including payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Manage employee relations cases and respond to questions about benefits, systems, performance, company programs, and policies.

Requirements

  • 5 years of HR experience in fast-growing organizations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Experience serving as the face of HR and representing policies to managers and employees across the organization.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Remote role with Flex First work policy and flexibility to work from home, an office, or another location.
  • Highly market-competitive compensation.
  • Base salary range of $124,000-$131,000 USD in CA, NY, CT, and NJ; $119,000-$125,000 USD in WA; $114,000-$120,000 USD in selected states; and $104,000-$109,500 USD in all other states.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
  • Access to Instacart benefits offerings.
