Description

  • Architect cross-channel marketing campaigns through Marketo and the broader martech stack as the team’s senior platform subject matter expert.
  • Administer Marketo by defining governance, naming conventions, folder architecture, and operational standards to keep the instance clean and scalable.
  • Design and maintain the lead lifecycle, lead scoring models, and nurture strategy in partnership with demand generation, sales, and revenue operations.
  • Incorporate AI and agentic automation into marketing operations to accelerate campaign builds, segmentation, lead scoring, and repetitive workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted content tools to draft, test, and personalize email and campaign copy while maintaining brand, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, review their work, and create documentation and best practices.
  • Customize communications based on user segments and behavior, optimizing channel use, frequency, and dynamic personalization.
  • Analyze KPIs and run A/B and multivariate tests to refine campaign approaches and messaging.
  • Lead digital analytics processes and maintain awareness of accessibility, compatibility, and emerging technologies.
  • Implement and manage Marketo CRM synchronization, Munchkin tracking, custom objects, Smart Campaigns, Flow Actions, and LaunchPoint integrations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing or marketing operations with hands-on ownership of marketing automation, audience segmentation, and cross-channel campaign execution.
  • Experience with Marketo or a similar marketing automation platform.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI to marketing or operational outcomes through AI-assisted content, workflow automation, agentic tooling, or AI-driven analysis.
  • Hands-on comfort with large language models and AI-powered marketing tools, with sound judgment on when human oversight is needed.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and owning a marketing automation platform, including governance, integrations, and instance health.
  • Adobe Marketo Engage certification (Marketo Certified Expert) preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret user data, campaign analytics, and cross-channel effects to drive campaign success.
  • Advanced skills in testing strategies and data analysis for campaign optimization.
  • Expertise in Marketo LaunchPoint services.
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing CRM integrations with Marketo, with Salesforce knowledge as a plus.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing email scripting tokens within Marketo for personalized marketing activities.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, graphic design, creative media, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; the role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship for U.S.-based positions.
