Description

  • Lead projects independently, with occasional support from an Assistant Project Manager, and manage a larger book of business.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for projects and as a liaison across account, strategy, creative, technology, operations, accounting, and administration teams.
  • Oversee end-to-end project development according to established business processes and client guidelines.
  • Manage med/legal submission preparation and submission workflows.
  • Create project status updates and lead daily and weekly production meetings.
  • Maintain project management systems of record, including FinancialForce, Ziflow, and CRM platforms.
  • Develop project milestones, schedules, staffing plans, and budget tracking for client and vendor work.
  • Monitor project and campaign budgets, lead monthly reconciliation meetings, and support client budget reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Build relationships with development teams, vendors, agency partners, and clients, and support and manage Assistant Project Managers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in project management.
  • Pharmaceutical marketing agency experience is required; AOR experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) required.
  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams across account services, creative, strategy, database, interactive, and print production.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and managing their timelines and needs.
  • Experience using MS Project or SmartSheets.
  • Advanced experience using a project management financial platform.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Experience leading process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
