Description

  • Administer contracts and subcontracts and monitor performance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual communications and commitments with customers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain contract documentation and files in accordance with applicable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Participate on proposal and program teams to address contract and subcontract requirements.
  • Collaborate with Capture, Proposal, and Program Managers to support contract or subcontract performance.
  • Review RFPs and help prepare compliant proposal responses.
  • Review subcontractor proposals and support source selection activities.
  • Negotiate contract and subcontract terms within business goals and document discussions, agreements, and outcomes.
  • Review contract and subcontract documents for accuracy, risk, and conformance with terms and conditions.
  • Manage contract and subcontract changes and work with Program Managers to mitigate performance risk.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to contracts, audits, and compliance issues.
  • Advise business teams on issues and developments related to assigned contracts and subcontracts.
  • Build and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships while identifying needs and issues.
  • Provide leadership, subject matter expertise, and recommendations on contracting issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in contract or subcontract management.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Federal government contracting experience required.
  • Ability to review proposals, contract documents, and subcontractor submissions for compliance and risk.
  • Experience supporting negotiations, source selection, and contract change management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with proposal, program, capture, and business teams.
