Description

  • Negotiate contracts with assigned healthcare providers to secure favorable terms and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate Single Case Agreements (SCAs) and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) cases.
  • Review and analyze assigned provider contracts to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Use provider financial data and competitor insights to support negotiation and contracting decisions.
  • Support implementation of contracting policies and workflows and help ensure efficient contracting processes.
  • Monitor network performance, cost, provider satisfaction, and KPIs, and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Build and maintain positive provider relationships and resolve provider issues in a timely, professional manner.
  • Support provider onboarding, training, and distribution of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Claims, Credentialing, and Contracting to resolve routine provider issues.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve workflows and provider experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in provider network operations, contracting, or provider services.
  • 1+ years of experience in the health insurance and/or healthcare industry.
  • 1+ years of experience navigating and organizing large datasets such as claim files and provider rosters.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent professional working experience preferred.
  • Experience working with provider contracts, reimbursement rates, or network management preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in healthcare contracting preferred.

  • Base salary of $96,876 - $127,149 per year in New York and California, or $71,539 - $93,895 in all other locations.
