Description

  • Provide government contractual expertise and leadership across the contracts function.
  • Lead preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts to meet legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Government Contracting Officers and Prime Contractors.
  • Negotiate NDAs and TA's and conduct OCI screenings.
  • Participate in proposal development and review.
  • Perform risk assessments, identify contractual risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Interpret contract terms and resolve or communicate issues related to scope, schedule, or cost.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Lead contract negotiations with government agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee contract close-out, documentation, reporting, and support audits or internal/external reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, legal studies, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Contracts Management, including at least 7 years in Government Contracting.
  • Highly proficient, expert knowledge of US Government Acquisition Regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms and conditions, and the negotiation process.
  • Experience negotiating and managing large-scale contracts with government agencies and prime contractors.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address contractual risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with contract management software and MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Nice to have: experience working independently on moderately complex proposals and contract risk reviews.
