Description

  • Understand and synthesize customer, market, and business needs to inform product strategy.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of industry and technology trends.
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Information Governance, Customer Success, and Leadership to define requirements aligned with business goals.
  • Support the product vision and manage the roadmap for the assigned product area.
  • Deliver a financially sound, continuously improving technology platform.
  • Protect intellectual property, user data, and system integrity through secure software development practices.
  • Act as the primary product voice in customer engagements and lead discovery and feedback sessions.
  • Support the creation of product management plans, product business plans, and release launch plans.
  • Monitor release schedules to ensure product and feature availability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives, resolve problems, and balance requirements against development constraints.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management or a related role.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain BPSS clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with product architecture and design for cloud-scale enterprise software deployed globally and run 24x7 on cloud providers such as AWS.
  • Experience driving product lifecycle activities including product vision, go-to-market strategy, requirements gathering, and product launch.
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs with Figma or similar software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to balance business needs and customer requirements.
  • Experience conducting competitive research and analysis.
  • Preferred experience working in a highly regulated industry, especially defence or healthcare.
  • Preferred knowledge or background in messaging platforms or real-time communication products.
  • Preferred understanding of international accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 and Section 508.
  • Self-starter with high initiative, self-direction, and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfort working in a matrix organization without line authority and with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent people engagement, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company externally.
  • Technical understanding to translate customer application needs into product requirements and communicate product benefits to channel partners and end users.
  • Ad-hoc meetings outside standard working hours may be required due to the globally distributed team.
  • Ad-hoc travel within the UK and overseas may be required.
