Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operational functions for the South Korean market.
  • Ensure services are localized, efficient, and compliant with internal standards.
  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with local vendors, including payment processors, security firms, and marketing agencies.
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to align the platform and communications with Korean users while maintaining global brand identity.
  • Manage the operational setup of the local presence, including office management, equipment procurement, and administrative workflows.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows to increase efficiency and reduce friction for Korean users.
  • Translate global objectives into local action in a fast-paced international environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations management, vendor relations, or a similar role within a high-growth tech environment.
  • Native-level Korean fluency in written and spoken communication and professional-level English.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and external partnerships in the South Korean market.
  • Prior experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Deep understanding of the South Korean business landscape, consumer culture, and operational norms.
  • Experience building and leveraging vendor relationships to achieve strong organizational outcomes.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • A self-starter mindset with a strong bias toward execution and process building.
