Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions primarily in Ruby on Rails.
  • Implement efficient data pipelines to extract relevant information from large volumes of noisy data.
  • Collaborate with security researchers to understand attack methods and develop defenses.
  • Provide architectural and design direction as a technical thought leader for the team.
  • Improve solution quality through code reviews, manual testing, and automated testing.
  • Set engineering standards and create processes that improve team efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers on larger projects, including breaking down ambiguous work into actionable tasks.
  • Validate designs and serve as a point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Design systems and architecture to process petabytes of data efficiently.
  • Work across the stack, including building UI, data models, event ingestion, and automated detectors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing complex software products.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
  • Experience working in the cybersecurity industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with external APIs, particularly REST, OData, and authZ/authN flows, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with identity and resource security providers such as Microsoft 365, Okta, or Google Workspace is preferred.
  • Experience with other data storage technologies such as ClickHouse, Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB is preferred.
