Description

  • Own Huntress’s technical point of view on Microsoft Security and M365, including coexistence, consolidation, and managed service overlays.
  • Design and validate integration patterns across Microsoft Graph, Defender, Entra ID, Azure, Purview, M365, SIEM, and Huntress workflows.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize Microsoft APIs and telemetry streams for integration development.
  • Drive internal understanding of Microsoft security changes, including licensing, packaging, and product or go-to-market implications.
  • Lead technical engagement for Microsoft and ecosystem alliances, including customer calls, proof-of-concepts, integration scoping, and implementation planning.
  • Translate partner, customer, product, and telemetry feedback into structured roadmap input for Product, Engineering, PMM, and the SOC.
  • Build enablement assets, demos, labs, and field guidance for SEs, TAMs, alliance teams, and partner sellers.
  • Act as the go-to expert for Microsoft Security integrations and co-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure Microsoft telemetry and threat intelligence flow cleanly into investigative and response workflows.
  • Travel 15–30% for alliance meetings, co-sell opportunities, events, and strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on design experience with Microsoft Graph, Defender APIs, Sentinel or Log Analytics, and Event Hub.
  • Ability to reason about latency, fidelity, cost, rate limits, and downstream workflow impacts.
  • Comfort operating as a technical counterpart to product engineering.
  • Strong familiarity with investigative and operational security workflows.
  • Ability to create clear enablement artifacts such as battlecards, talk tracks, diagrams, demo narratives, and short guides.
  • Confidence presenting to both technical and business stakeholders, including executive-level conversations.
  • Experience defining success criteria, tracking enablement and pipeline impact, and iterating in ambiguous environments.
  • Prior work at or alongside Microsoft or large Microsoft-aligned partners such as LSPs, SIs, or security ISVs is preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling joint security offers such as managed Defender, MDR on Microsoft, identity/ITDR plus M365, or SIEM/log analytics for Microsoft signals is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft skilling programs and partner playbooks is preferred.
  • Hands-on exposure to SOC or incident response is preferred.
  • Background working with large resellers, distributors, or marketplaces on security and integration topics is preferred.
