Description

  • Own the client experience from onboarding through ongoing account management.
  • Build senior-level client relationships and position Human Made as a strategic partner.
  • Lead structured, outcome-focused business reviews and drive clear decisions and next steps.
  • Handle difficult conversations when expectations drift or commercial terms need to be reset.
  • Identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities within the account portfolio.
  • Maintain forecasts, account data, and revenue reporting that leadership can trust for planning.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure priorities, constraints, and expectations are clearly communicated.
  • Surface commercial and delivery risks early and act as the primary escalation point for account issues.
  • Translate client goals into account growth strategies and commercial outcomes.
  • Retain and grow client engagements while keeping work aligned to scope and budget.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a web development agency working with WordPress or open source CMS platforms.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and discussing business outcomes, not just technical features.
  • Ability to manage and close opportunities while balancing commercial ambition with delivery reality.
  • Experience creating and actively using Account Growth Strategies to drive results.
  • Strong understanding of clients' businesses, stakeholders, and operating context.
  • Ability to identify expansion opportunities and meet individual sales targets consistently.
  • Experience maintaining realistic forecasts and accurate account and revenue data.
  • Comfort with early risk management and escalation in client and delivery discussions.
  • Based in the US East Coast, Midwest, or Eastern/Mid Canada.
  • Preferred experience working in enterprise client services or strategic consultancy environments.
