Description

  • Develop, build, and grow referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create strategic referral networks and partnership opportunities that drive lead generation and new business.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partnership issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to plan and execute partner sales initiatives such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Work with partners to define business goals and performance metrics, including pipeline depth and revenue generation.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities with partners.
  • Manage operational partnership issues and create solutions using independent judgment when needed.
  • Own and strengthen key partner accounts and growth opportunities for the Partnership Program.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space, including territory sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to operate independently as a motivated individual contributor and relationship builder.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong resilience, resourcefulness, and ability to find creative ways to get things done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce to manage sales cycles is preferred.
  • Ability to travel and be in the field 3 days per week.
  • Must be located in Albany, New York, Vermont, or New Hampshire.
  • Growth mindset and ability to absorb feedback, training, and guidance, with strong accountability and coachability.

  • Total On Target Earnings of $130,000-$140,000, including a $70,000 base salary and $70,000 variable target compensation.
