Description

  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of Salesforce administrators and developers.
  • Partner with Product to define technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for CRM systems.
  • Deliver reliable and scalable solutions for GTM and CS&O workflows across the customer lifecycle.
  • Improve platform architecture, testing, observability, and CI/CD to speed delivery and reduce production errors.
  • Establish and run team processes for sprint planning, technical design reviews, release management, on-call, incident response, and quarterly planning.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for Agentforce and other AI capabilities to improve productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions for capabilities implemented in Salesforce, via vendors, or as custom solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering or technical teams in the Salesforce domain.
  • Prior hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Salesforce capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data modeling, security and permissions, and system integrations.
  • Experience establishing engineering practices for planning, development, code review, deployment, incident response, and operational support.
  • Experience directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience deploying Agentforce or other AI-powered customer support, sales, or operations agents (preferred).
  • Experience managing Salesforce code and delivery through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience supporting complex GTM workflows including lead routing, opportunity management, CPQ, contracting, onboarding, and revenue operations (preferred).
  • Experience supporting high-volume customer service or operations teams using Service Cloud, omnichannel routing, knowledge management, and case automation (preferred).
  • Experience operating customer-facing systems in fintech or another highly regulated industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with security, privacy, auditability, and data-governance requirements for sensitive customer information (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $220,000 to $265,000, with potential bonus, commission, and equity components depending on the position.
