Description

  • Lead one or more Agile development squads within the Software Engineering group.
  • Partner with Product Owners, QA, Architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives with predictable execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Contribute to the design and development of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Champion engineering practices such as code quality, automated testing, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Work with QA and SDET teams to improve test automation coverage and quality engineering practices.
  • Define and evolve CI/CD strategies and infrastructure for secure, automated deployments.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that supports knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Support resource planning, sprint execution, and team enablement.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of software development experience, including 2+ years in engineering leadership or team management.
  • Proven experience leading Agile development teams delivering production-grade software systems.
  • Hands-on experience with backend and frontend technologies such as Java, Spring, and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of Java architecture, including event-driven design, Kafka, pub/sub messaging, and scalable microservices.
  • Experience running production workloads in cloud-based, containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience defining and evolving CI/CD strategies and deployment infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of test automation strategy and frameworks, including coverage analysis, parallel execution, and CI integration.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI, or similar frameworks; BDD is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, drive accountability, and maintain focus on high-quality outcomes.
