Description

  • Drive growth by identifying the right customers and expanding the customer base.
  • Own business outcomes including revenue, retention, budget, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction metrics.
  • Build strong customer relationships and help solve growth obstacles with practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with other sales leaders and cross-functional partners to align across businesses.
  • Attract, recruit, select, and train sales talent across Asia.
  • Work with HubSpot partners to identify local market growth opportunities and support their scaling efforts.
  • Lead the team to meet or exceed sales and bookings goals set by executive leadership.
  • Implement HubSpot’s sales methodology within the team and coach sales managers to achieve monthly goals.
  • Foster an inclusive, psychologically safe team culture and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Partner with Asia sales leadership, marketing, sales training, and recruiting teams on regional and global initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing a sales team and driving growth for small businesses (5-50 FTEs).
  • SaaS industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience influencing stakeholders internally at all levels, including executive leadership, and externally with customers and partners.
  • A successful track record of managing frontline sales representatives in the Small Business segment.
  • Strong coaching and people management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and grow a team while maintaining high morale.
  • Subject matter expertise in the Asia market with deep knowledge of the market and partner ecosystem.
  • Ability to anticipate and interpret market changes and think strategically about the future.
  • Ability to drive execution and build the capabilities needed for success.
  • Experience experimenting, collaborating, and driving innovation across the company.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese, especially Mandarin or Cantonese, is preferred.
