Description

  • Educate prospective customers on how Houzz software supports business growth, efficiency, and long-term success.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, discovery calls, product demos, and closing deals.
  • Generate outbound leads and build relationships with potential customers in the assigned territory.
  • Use consultative selling to understand customer needs and position Houzz as a strategic solution.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers.
  • Research the market and competition to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow a personal book of business in the home design and construction industry.
  • Approve discounts and structure deals to streamline the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to improve sales strategy, messaging, and operations.
  • Conduct in-person discovery meetings, demos, executive presentations, and attend trade shows and networking events.

Requirements

  • 1.5 to 3 years of relevant full-cycle sales experience, including field sales.
  • Outbound cold-calling experience.
  • Experience managing a pipeline of primarily outbound prospects, with some inbound leads.
  • Proven consultative selling and closing skills.
  • Strong goal focus and accountability for results and setbacks.
  • Ability to work in California and be a permanent resident of one of the eligible states listed.
  • Preferred experience selling software.
  • Preferred multi-channel outbound prospecting experience.
  • Direct industry experience with home remodeling, design, or renovation clients is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience working a territory and targeted accounts, self-sourced outbound leads, and majority net-new closing experience is preferred.
  • SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Grit, resilience, coachability, adaptability, and comfort with fast-paced change.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and technologies.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
