Description

  • Manage a territory and sales quota focused on brands in home-related categories.
  • Develop account and territory strategies to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Own prospecting, lead generation, cold outreach, meeting setup, pitching, negotiation, and closing sales.
  • Act as a business specialist by developing digital and mixed media solutions tailored to client objectives.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through a high volume of face-to-face calls.
  • Prioritize and manage accounts to ensure strong internal and external account coordination.
  • Establish thought leadership within the home category and represent Houzz’s market positioning.
  • Stay current on marketplace and digital advertising trends affecting clients.
  • Generate advertising revenue that meets or exceeds the annual quota.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of advertising sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience working with home category partners is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising space, including native, content, sponsorships, social, and custom.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple account challenges at once.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiar with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel 10% to 25% of the time.
  • Must be located in a US time zone.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in an unstructured, goal-oriented environment.
  • Preferred: experience working with home category brands, ad agency experience, or programmatic sales experience.
  • Preferred: degree in marketing, advertising, or business.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary plus variable pay based on business metrics and individual performance.
  • Starting salary range of $62,500 to $75,000.
  • On Target Earnings of $150,000.
