Description

  • Acquire new enterprise customers in landmark industries and exceed individual quota targets.
  • Develop and execute industry-specific account growth strategies to generate a net-new sales pipeline.
  • Own quarterly targets, accurately forecast sales activity, and report revenue attainment.
  • Lead full sales cycles from value creation through negotiation and closing.
  • Present solutions to senior- and C-suite-level prospects and manage complex global evaluations.
  • Evaluate and complete RFI/RFP responses, security and privacy agreements, and proposal and credit review processes.
  • Deliver strategic product presentations, demos, and supported trials to prospects and customers.
  • Partner with pre-sales, post-sales, and senior internal stakeholders to remove roadblocks and support customer success.
  • Manage sales activities and pipeline reporting in Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
  • Develop expansion and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and transition customers smoothly to the customer team after close.

Requirements

  • Senior-level B2B sales experience, including 2+ years selling to enterprise customers.
  • Experience in software sales is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed assigned quotas.
  • Experience crafting sales plans for a vertical or territory and executing account or territory plans.
  • Outbound sales experience with a track record of sourcing your own pipeline.
  • Ability to generate pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, and strategic outbound campaigns.
  • Strong focus on customer business value, return on investment, and solution-based selling.
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset and ability to communicate a big-picture vision to customers.
  • Experience with social listening is an asset.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, negotiate effectively, influence stakeholders, and persist through challenges.

Benefits

  • Remote-first role open to applicants located in Canada or the United States.
  • Base pay range of $110,000 to $130,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for Hootsuite’s Sales Compensation Program and variable pay.
