Description

  • Acquire new enterprise customers within landmark industries and meet individual quota targets.
  • Prospect and generate outbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage full sales cycles from value creation through negotiation and closing.
  • Build trust with C-suite and senior executives through strategic customer conversations.
  • Craft and execute quarterly pipeline strategies to identify and develop net-new opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue attainment.
  • Recommend Hootsuite and third-party solutions to address customer business challenges.
  • Deliver product presentations, demos, and complete RFI/RFP and supplier technical response documents.
  • Partner with pre-sales, post-sales, and Sales Development Representatives to overcome objections, coordinate account strategies, and support smooth customer handoff and onboarding.
  • Track, manage, and report sales activity in Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.

Requirements

  • Considerable relevant B2B sales experience, with software sales experience considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed assigned quotas.
  • Demonstrated outbound sales experience, including proactive prospecting, cold outreach, and strategic outbound campaigns.
  • Ability to craft and execute sales plans for territories or verticals and build account strategies.
  • Experience focusing on client business value, ROI, and customer solutions rather than feature-led selling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and clarification.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure commitment while maintaining relationships and integrity.
  • Perseverance, resilience, and a consistent drive to achieve results.
  • Social listening experience is an asset.
  • Open to applicants located in Canada or the United States.

Benefits

  • Remote-first role.
  • Eligible for Hootsuite’s Sales Compensation Program with variable pay.
  • Base salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 USD.
