Description

  • Lead advanced mobile testing and automation for Android and iOS apps using BDD frameworks and related tools.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve scalable, reusable test automation frameworks and solutions.
  • Perform functional and device compatibility testing across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Debug complex issues at the code, app, and infrastructure levels and identify root causes.
  • Use AI tools and custom LLM workflows to improve testing efficiency and automation.
  • Mentor and guide junior SDETs while promoting technical growth and best practices.
  • Review product requirements and provide feedback on business, technical, and testability gaps.
  • Define and implement test strategies, methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Partner with product, development, and DevOps teams to support CI/CD and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor and report automation metrics, drive QA improvements, and support release quality sign-offs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in mobile testing and mobile automation.
  • Experience with tools such as Flutter Integration Test, Appium, Espresso, or Maestro.
  • Strong programming skills in Dart, Java, Kotlin, or equivalent languages.
  • Proven ability to architect, design, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience debugging automation frameworks and app issues.
  • Experience writing and automating test cases for complex features in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Ability to design comprehensive test strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, release metrics, and QA best practices.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Codemagic, Jenkins, and Bitrise.
  • Experience with API testing and automation tools such as Postman or REST-Assured.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, agile teams.
  • Preferred: Expertise in Flutter Driver-based automation frameworks.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of advanced testing paradigms such as declarative testing approaches.
  • Preferred: Experience with performance testing for mobile apps.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab.
  • Preferred: Passion for mentoring and elevating team capabilities.
