Description

  • Drive sales of Heartflow’s technology at new accounts through prospecting, quoting, and closing business.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities within the assigned geography.
  • Schedule and conduct sales calls with current and prospective customers.
  • Manage the sales process for introducing Heartflow into new centers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cardiologists, radiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other key stakeholders.
  • Educate customers and decision makers on Heartflow’s value proposition through presentations and discussions.
  • Drive penetration and expansion of Heartflow’s technology within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop adoption and penetration strategies for the territory.
  • Coordinate the activities of CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, Field Billing Specialists, and other team members to support sales and customer service.
  • Use Salesforce.com to track sales leads, activities, and business management.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and market strategy.

Requirements

  • BA degree.
  • 10+ years of healthcare and/or business-to-business sales experience in a cardio/cardiovascular environment.
  • Medical device sales experience required.
  • Proven sales skills and a track record of sales achievements.
  • Experience in cardiology; radiology experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience with go-to-market plans for new diagnostic or therapeutic areas.
  • Deep understanding of cardiovascular disease and relationships with practitioners in the assigned region.
  • Experience educating physicians about new technologies.
  • Experience creating tactical sales plans for segmentation and adoption.
  • Self-starter with high initiative and a pattern of driving revenue.
  • Technical aptitude to explain complex technology.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
  • Home-based position.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $150,000 plus variable/commission.
  • Total target compensation of $300,000.
  • No cap on variable pay.
