Description

  • Drive new business acquisition by prospecting enterprise opportunities and generating pipeline.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through deal close for large and enterprise software deals.
  • Articulate MinIO’s value for data infrastructure, AI/ML, and HPC workloads in technical and business terms.
  • Compete against legacy storage vendors and position cloud-native, S3-compatible object storage as the preferred solution.
  • Educate prospects on AI infrastructure optimization and data architecture modernization.
  • Build business cases and ROI models that quantify benefits, risk reduction, and financial justification.
  • Develop and execute partner-led co-selling strategies with channel and alliance partners.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to support tailored solutions and successful POCs.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and clear account strategies.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of enterprise sales experience closing large deals and managing enterprise accounts in Public Sector and Critical National Infrastructure/Utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of storage, data infrastructure, data lakehouse, AI/ML, and HPC environments.
  • Experience building co-selling strategies with channel and alliance partners.
  • Proven success selling transformational solutions and shaping buyer thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to compete against legacy storage solutions and displace entrenched vendors.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong challenger mindset with the ability to teach, tailor, and challenge customer perspectives.
  • Deep relationships within the territory with decision makers and influencers.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
