Description

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, including retail chains, foodservice clients, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to strengthen customer loyalty and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and resolve client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue, grow market share, and strengthen brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, operations, and supply chain teams to align promotions and customer requirements with business goals.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Manage account budgets, monitor profitability and ROI, and adjust sales activities to improve cost efficiency.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions and prepare/manage contracts in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, events, and in-store activations that drive sales and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the Food & Beverage or Consumer Products industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large, strategic accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing national or regional retail accounts.
  • Experience developing and executing promotional strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales management software such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to travel regularly to key accounts and industry events and work from a home office when not traveling.
