Description

  • Contribute to the global sourcing strategy and design of the supplier network for the assigned category.
  • Lead regional implementation and execution of the global sourcing strategy and supply network redesign.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for operational performance and manage cross-functional interfaces between Hasbro teams and suppliers.
  • Own end-to-end supplier performance across capabilities, capacity, financial health, compliance, quality, launch performance, and delivery.
  • Drive data-based performance reviews and implement structural corrective actions to improve supplier results.
  • Lead supplier competence development in supply chain, product development, quality, and manufacturing when needed.
  • Assess current and new suppliers through segmentation and tiering to maintain a healthy supplier pipeline.
  • Lead onboarding of new suppliers and ethical exit of suppliers when required.
  • Prepare and lead joint business reviews, improvement agendas, scorecards, and account plans for assigned suppliers.
  • Lead supplier selection and commercial negotiations for new projects and support Design to Value and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement and/or supplier management experience at an MNC with international exposure at leadership or management level.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Open to business travel of around 30%.
  • Strong ability to influence senior leaders at manufacturing partners, key suppliers, model-shops, toolmakers, and test-labs.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive concrete decisions and actions.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and consistent execution style with ownership of procurement goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal networks across global consumer insight, supply chain, and commercial teams.
  • Willingness to work beyond normal function, department, time-zone, and hour boundaries to get the job done.
