Description

  • Design and build client and service components for digital Dungeon Master tools.
  • Build backend services using Node.js, C#, and AWS.
  • Build client-side solutions using React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Write maintainable, high-quality features in a team-based development environment.
  • Participate in peer reviews and pull request workflows on a shared codebase.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Help improve code integration and deployment processes.
  • Participate in planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and operational reviews.
  • Create and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer building services with Node.js or .NET Core.
  • At least 2 years of industry experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS3.
  • Proven ability to deliver RESTful APIs with scalability and security in mind.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres.
  • Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with building services in the cloud, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A curious attitude and excitement to learn new things and contribute across the product.
  • Experience with Next.js, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accessibility web standards such as WAI-ARIA and WCAG is preferred.
  • Experience practicing test-driven development is preferred.
  • A passion for Dungeons & Dragons is preferred.
