Description

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver user-facing features end to end.
  • Define frontend standards for Vue 3 and React with TypeScript, including component and build system APIs.
  • Promote state management patterns, GraphQL data patterns, performance budgets, and WCAG-aligned accessibility practices.
  • Design and evolve GraphQL schemas and APIs to match product workflows.
  • Build backend changes in C#/.NET and/or Node.js and make data model changes in Postgres and MongoDB.
  • Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design reviews to drive adoption of domain standards.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response, including root-cause analysis and fixes.
  • Embed security-by-default practices into features and APIs.
  • Raise team capability in using AI agents for production delivery and validation of AI-generated code.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and shipping web products across frontend and backend.
  • Strong frontend experience with Vue 3 and/or React plus TypeScript.
  • Experience developing large-codebase, maintainable, accessible UIs aligned with WCAG.
  • Experience defining or evolving state management, component architecture, and design systems.
  • Experience designing GraphQL and/or REST APIs and implementing services in C#/.NET and/or Node.js.
  • Experience with Postgres/SQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience operating production services in AWS, including deployments, debugging, scaling, and basic observability.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-team execution through design docs, technical discussions, partner alignment, and mentoring.
  • Hands-on experience using AI agents for production delivery, including validating and correcting AI-generated code.
  • Nice to have: experience with event-driven patterns such as queues and pub/sub.
  • Nice to have: experience breaking down monolithic .NET/C# architectures into smaller distributed services.
  • Nice to have: experience with both relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres and non-relational databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
  • Nice to have: curiosity about or knowledge of Wizards brands such as Magic: The Gathering.
