Description

  • Deliver exceptional software as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Build customer-focused experiences and platform innovations in partnership with product.
  • Architect systems, build tools, and establish engineering best practices.
  • Practice continuous integration and deployment and improve delivery processes.
  • Work in an agile development process with high autonomy and accountability.
  • Write tests across the testing pyramid to ensure production-quality releases.
  • Apply full-stack expertise as needed to complete work and expand the team’s capabilities.
  • Create applications that solve significant user problems with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with and influence other engineers while making difficult decisions when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering complex solutions using JavaScript (ES2015+), HTML, and CSS.
  • Expertise with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience writing back-end services using JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Spring Boot, or with Node.js, .Net, Python, or similar.
  • Good understanding of deployment tools and technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and experience building scalable, maintainable systems.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Ability to collaborate with and lead others, communicate clearly, and influence decision-making.
  • Experience working across the full stack is valued.
  • Familiarity with front-end tools such as Redux, Jest, Vite, Enzyme, and Cypress is relevant.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Spring Framework and MySQL is relevant.
