Description

  • Own retention, renewals, and expansion targets for existing regional revenue.
  • Manage customer agreements and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Support onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on farms.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with farmers, farm teams, and families.
  • Partner with customers to define business goals, timelines, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Provide prompt support to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Represent the Halter brand locally by leading discussion groups and building community networks.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and share field context with product teams.
  • Provide farmer-perspective technical and practical input on reproduction, pasture, and agronomy.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues across the South Island team.

Requirements

  • Background in relationship management, account management, sales, or customer-facing work.
  • Experience in dairy or the wider agricultural sector is a bonus.
  • Strong learning agility and a genuine passion for helping farmers succeed.
  • Business acumen, with willingness to deepen commercial understanding on the job.
  • Integrity, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Curiosity, openness to feedback, and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time well in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort with frequent travel around the South Otago region.
