Description

  • Own retention, renewals, and expansion targets for existing regional revenue.
  • Renew customer agreements and grow revenue from existing customers through value-added account management.
  • Support onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on customer farms.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with farmers, their teams, and families.
  • Partner with customers to define business goals, timelines, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Provide prompt support and problem-solving for technical and operational challenges.
  • Represent the Halter brand locally by leading discussion groups and building community networks.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and share on-the-ground insights with product teams.
  • Work closely with product teams to provide practical advice on reproduction, pasture, and agronomy.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support others in line with Halter’s operating principles.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or account management roles.
  • Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector.
  • A deep passion for helping farmers succeed.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Hunger for success and personal growth.
  • Willingness to be based anywhere in the Manawatu region.
  • Frequent travel is required.
  • Experience working with farmers or agricultural customers (preferred).
